We all are in a race and interestingly a relay race where baton are passed down to every player. We must prepare ourselves in view of this….

“Well I guess I’ve got to hand it to you,” I admitted, finally understanding what the baton is for and why my relay team is always annoyed.

….he wasn't an enemy…. just the receiver of the baton in the relay. pic.twitter.com/PI5lBltKrQ

“Our Leader” Vs other countries leaders…
Some leaders reflect and pass the 'baton' to others to finish the race….
“Our Leader” Nicola Sturgeon holds on to the 'baton' as she can only see herself in a relay race. pic.twitter.com/WDJ9AWCzjC

So if Rishi doesn't destroy the UK economy, Starmer will
It's like a relay race, all on the same team, passing the baton at the appropriate time
An optimist may suggest such an outcome would finally solve small boat immigration

Agree, people (& commentators) miss the point. Government is a “relay race”. The race is never finished. But the baton changes hands. Good baton changes win the race. And if a leader feels they have run a good shift, that’s perfectly fair to pass it on. Not obliged to drag on.

Team captains can stream their team colors POV, but one of you streams the big event as a whole. It doesn’t just have to be outdoor games, it can be indoor tournament game like valo or something then relay to pass baton to another team mate doing another game.

I imagine running a country leaves little time for self care, and empathic/compassionate people burn out if they are giving more than they are receiving. If we want empathic leaders they may need to operate like relay teams, passing the baton on to the next after short bursts.

Uh, I've been going right, right around, call that relay
Pass the baton, back and I'm on

Thinking about how I dropped the baton on my first practice relay and I think it was a sign that I didn’t belong in that area lmao

Consider the political arena as a track and field relay race. Jacinda Ardern is stepping down, who is she passing the baton to? And what leg of the race is it? The second? Third? Anchor? https://t.co/vnCebH2wu6

Where life is a relay, we have to be mindful to pass the baton. Especially where you recognise team! Whoever is the fastest doesn't matter. The end product is which team got it done 1st!!!! #winningwednesdays🏆 https://t.co/jcO1DLpfDl
